Today’s ABC countdown brought us to the letter O and we celebrated with outdoor lessons! Despite the heat and a few bugs crawling and flying nearby, we had fun with our math lesson outside. In the afternoon, we had a mini virtual field trip to a youth orchestra, learned about different instrument families, then played some instruments of our own!

We got to visit the first grade classroom, read a story with Mrs. Bender, and learn what first grade is all about!
On Thursday’s ABC countdown, we had the letter F for FLASHLIGHTS and FRIENDS! Each child chose a keychain flashlight and a little eraser ‘friend’ to keep. We read our books under our tables with our flashlights and our friends!
We are celebrating our last month of school with an ABC countdown- can you believe we are close enough to the end of the year to start the countdown already??
A was stuffed ‘A’nimal day - we loved sharing our school day with our stuffies!
B was for balloons - we had a bouncy balloon party to wrap up the week!
