Feels like spring!

We are loving these warmer temperatures this week, even though it brought muddy, messy recesses with it! We had indoor recess on Thursday, but ventured out for a walk (and mask break) during our science lesson. We made wind socks to measure what direction the wind was blowing and we also observed how wind speed affected our wind socks. The kindergarteners loved it!

Valentine’s Day Party

Happy Valentine’s Day! Here in kindergarten, we turned math and writing into Valentine activities, watched a short valentine movie, and played Valentine BINGO! We got our treat bags and enjoyed looking through them at all of our treats and cards and candy. We were so happy to share this fun day together!

I wish I had taken more pictures, but life in kindergarten is busy! 😊

I also included pictures from our brownie ice cream sundae treats from our contest prize!

100th Day!

Today, we celebrated 100 days of school by dressing up like we were 100 years old! So fun and creative!

We also wrote all of our numbers to 100, colored 100 stars, and did 100 exercises. We ran out of time to make our 100th day crowns but maybe we’ll just make that into 101 and wear them tomorrow! 😂

We used the AgingBooth app to get a sneak peek at what we may look like many years down the road- too silly! The kids loved seeing themselves look so different!
