Reading Our Minibooks!

Students are keeping these books in their book boxes to read on their own during rest time, but will be bringing some home to practice in the coming weeks. We learned how to partner read “elbow to elbow, knee to knee” and we are practicing pointing to each word as we sound them out.

Calvin says, “It tastes better than peaches, and peaches are my favorite!”
Jacob says his favorite part of the field trip was “eating apples, because the yellow ones are so sour and I love it!”
