Chapel Buddies!

 Chapel is always a special time at Trinity. Chapel buddies makes this time even more special. We will be paired up with both 5th and 8th grade this year. Each group will consist of 2 kindergarteners, a 5th grader, and 1 or 2 8th graders. We will sit together during chapel as well as spend time with buddies for special projects or enrichment!

 We’re having a blast as we play, explore, and have fun at recess.

Chalk and Chapel Buddies!

 Last week on Thursday, we had the opportunity to meet our 8th grade chapel buddies. With them, we made a spinner that showed God’s 7 days of Creation.

On Friday, we met with our 5th grade chapel buddies (yes, we get 5th AND 8th grade chapel buddies!) to listen to the story ‘Chalk’ and created some awesome artwork on our sidewalk! Check it out!

Math is fun!

We use a lot of manipulatives during our math lesson for hands-on learning experiences. During the last 2 weeks, we’ve introduced counting bears (which we use for counting, ordinal numbers, patterns, number stories, etc.), pattern block shapes, and linking cubes.
