Christmas Cuties

On the last day before Christmas break, we took a moment to capture a few photos of these cuties!
I pray you’re cherishing these times with your families, despite the changes and adjustments we’ve had to make this year. Here’s to a happy and heathy 2021!

Chapel Guest!

This week we had a special guest for our Chapel message. Pastor Ken came in to tell us about NAMES and their meanings. We all have our own name, given to us by our parents, and they have special meanings. Jesus’ name was given to him by his parents, too, as God sent an angel to Mary to share what his name would be. He would be called Jesus, which means SAVIOR and he would also be called Immanuel, which means GOD WITH US. What does your child’s name mean? Have a conversation with them about the meaning of their name and why it was chosen for them.

Kindergarten Thankfulness Drive

With the help of Mrs. Pace, a Thrivent grant, and wonderful donations from all of you, kindergarten was able to give back to our community in a meaningful way. New clothing, socks, underwear, pillows, blankets, books, and toys, along with lots of gently used clothing, boots, and coats were collected to donate to Macomb Foster Closet. We had a massive pile in the classroom, and it barely fit in Mrs. Pace’s vehicle! The kindergarteners had fun and showed off their muscles while carrying the bags, boxes, and packages out.

Thank you and happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Election Day

Today, our class got to vote in Trinity’s mock election!

We attended a socially distanced election rally hosted by the 8th graders. There were 8th graders acting in the roles of the presidential and vice presidential candidates, their wives, secret service, news anchors, and even Uncle Sam! During the President’s speech, the Secret Service got to show their protective skills when a disgruntled voter ‘attacked’ the President (aka threw paper at him)

The rally was followed by our own chance to place our votes.

In the end, Trump (represented by Finley’s big brother Aiden) was the declared victorious over Biden (represented by Jack McMahon)! The kids were very excited to be part of the whole process!

Thankfulness Drive

Today, we gathered all of the donations from the last few weeks for the Macomb Foster Closet, along with items purchased through our Thrive...
