This week, we enjoyed the story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. We read the story, created our own trees with our name climbing up the coconut tree, and then on Friday afternoon, we made our own Chicka Chicka Boom Boom snacks! They class loved them and said they were the most delicious trees they had ever eaten!
Today in kindergarten, we learned about Constitution Day! We wore our red, white, and blue. We read and colored a short story about the constitution. In addition, we learned more about the Pledge of Allegiance and what it means. We learned about rights and responsibilities and being good citizens!
Chapel is always a special time at Trinity. Chapel buddies makes this time even more special. We will be paired up with both 5th and 8th grade this year. Each group will consist of 2 kindergarteners, a 5th grader, and 1 or 2 8th graders. We will sit together during chapel as well as spend time with buddies for special projects or enrichment!
